In July 2020 for Northside Flow, I along with several other members of the ROHO Arts Collective (www.rohocollective.org) took up space

in a parking lot to create for the community. The night before I sketched out an image that was to be his contribution for the event. That day came and while standing there I thought about a killing that occurred the night before.

The fatigue of dealing with another losing their life angered me. To alleviate some of that energy, that pain, I decided to create something I hoped would permeate through each resident living in North Minneapolis.  In that moment "Northside Love" was born along with the call for everyone to "Level Up The Love"
